I am a 26 year old, struggling to be an adult from Windsor, ON. I work in the world of marketing and create in the world of fashion and art. My passions include tweeting things that I find funny that most people don’t, politics and social justice (and I don’t just mean in a I’ve watched a documentary on Netflix way) travelling when my bank account isn’t giving me the side eye, photography and lastly of course, style and beauty.
Being passionate about my style started out for me at a pretty young age. In the total opposite way you would expect. I was anti fashion, anti anything girly or uncomfortable. My mother would put me in dresses and I would cry for HOURS until she would throw me in my absolute favourite over sized pink tee and shorts. I felt a part of me was a little anti establishment in that way, or maybe just the material of most dresses made my legs itch and I was being a complete brat. As I grew older I became more and more keen on using my personal style as a way to represent myself and make myself feel good. I did not stray far from where I began, because I am still a little anti fashion. I wholeheartedly believe in style that represents YOU. It does not have to be the latest trend, unless you want it to be. Sometimes I get caught up in new trends and ‘must haves’ of the season because I find it exciting to experiment with what I am wearing. But at the end of the day I think it is most important to wear what you like and like what you wear. I started my blog in hopes to continue to be passionate in what makes me happy, as well as help inspire others in finding their own personal style.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this and follow me. xx
